Aunty Jo held over 25 children enthralled with her hilarious stories on the theme of RAIN.
Children got to sing along with her, did a rain dance, and also learnt how to make a rainmaker!
At the Writing Workshop with Anitha Murthy, she took the children step-by-step through the process of creating a story. From thinking up of characters, fleshing them out, ideas on plots, how to add action and excitement to stories, the kids learnt it all. Each participant was invited to send their story to Anitha later on email and she provided personalised feedback to them.
The ReaDD Book Club got off to a flying start with children eagerly presenting and discussing the book they had recently read. The theme for the month was INDIAN AUTHORS.
Each and every book was fascinating and touched a chord with the child.
