On The Green Update (01-Mar-2020)

Cosy Nook Library’s Art On The Green was a super fun event!

There were enthusiastic children of all ages who participated. Adrija Ghosh, a young and an extremely talented and enthusiastic illustrator took the children on a lovely journey of how picture books are made. Each child then was guided to make their own picture book.

@oddrija_scribbles you rock!

World Read Aloud Day 2020

Today is World Read Aloud Day. We celebrated this day at Cosy Nook Library with many happy, enthusiastic children. We chose to read aloud, Stellauna by the brilliant Janell Cannon. And as always we were bowled over listening to incredibly intelligent and wise comments about the book from our young audience. Let us keep reading to our children and raise readers.

Branching Out!

Cosy Nook Library’s second branch opened its doors on Sunday, January 26th at ILM Montessori in Koramangala 1st Block.

There were excited children, best-selling authors, illustrators, editors, book sellers, friends and family. It was the sort of party where we just wanted to give everyone a big giant hug for all the love and support we got. There were parents taking memberships, kids checking out books, storytelling, lots of catching up, and fun conversations, all over cups of masala chai, cool lemonade and delicious cake.

If you were at the party, a million thanks to you and if you weren’t… the library is open! Come visit us soon.
